In the countryside, hidden among forests and meadows deep inside the unpopulated mountains, there is a library called Kokoro Library. Three sisters live and work here: Iina, the eldest, a kind but whimsical girl. Aruto, the second eldest, realistic and smart. And finally, Kokoro, the youngest and with the same name as the library - sweet, kind and sensitive and with a strong wish to become a good librarian and help other people.

It's not easy to run a library so far away from where people live. However, Kokoro Library is a place where miracles can happen...

Kokoro Library (Kokoro Toshokan) is a sweet, heartwarming and funny anime and manga series which focuses on the daily lives and struggles of the three librarian sisters. Even though visitors are few, there are many amusing, mysterious, happy and sad occurrences. The anime is very atmospheric, and the way it depicts the library and the surrounding areas of beautiful nature will really make you want to visit it yourself.
